Dreamland Margate will be making HIPSVILLE a real wild weekend as every WEEKEND TICKET includes FREE RIDES aboard a whole host of stylishly restored and retro fitted rides and amusements from the golden age of the British Seaside holiday, including an original 1920's wooden roller coaster, big wheel, chair-o-planes, bumper cars, helter-skelter plus a whole load of classic fairground games and attractions, oh, and not to forget The Roller Disco!
The Friday and Saturday night shindig sees top international bands, all-star DJs, Go Go! girls and gorillas! plus party people from all over the world dancin’ till the early hours to the wilder sounds of the 60’s and beyond in the seaside themed ballroom. With the added attraction of the now legendary Saturday night costume party!

Saturday and Sunday afternoon is your chance to get exotic as HIPSVILLE has its very own cocktail party called TiKiViLLE. Enjoy tropical cocktails whilst DJs spin the coolest, grooviest wax and bands deliver exotic sounds. Feel free to dress Hawaiian casual to make it a real hula hula TiKi afternoon!

This year HIPSVILLE has a weekend long Custom Car Show taking place in Dreamland’s Room by the sea. As always HIPSVILLE welcomes all ‘cool’ rides. Vintage, custom cars and bikes from all eras are welcome all weekend and on Sunday, the famous HIPSVILLE rosettes will be awarded to the ‘Coolest’ sets of wheels.
In addition to music, cars, bikes, go-go girls & gorillas, HIPSVILLE has a 3-day vintage market with stalls selling clothes, records and home wear, perfect for those looking for something cool to wear or something hip for their homes.

If that’s not enough the town of Margate offers the great old-school British seaside atmosphere of fish & chips, sandy beach, strolling the promenade, numerous vintage shops, the Turner modern art museum (free admission!) plus plenty of accommodation possibilities including nearby camping, a train station with direct connection to London and being only 20 miles from the ferry port of Dover.
