Event Name: classic cars on the prom Christchurch Dorset Date: 01 January 2017
Event Description: Our displays are open to all cars and motor bikes (in the classic spirit) registered before August 1983. (The organisers retain the right to refuse entry to extensively modified vehicles that could prejudice public safety and the events public liability insurance, ie exposed engines, missing bodywork, unprotected exhaust systems etc.) New Years Day usually attracts (weather permitting) around 150 to 200 cars aged from the 1920's up to our cut off registration date which must be before August 1983. (Conditions may apply). Events subject to weather and other sea front activities. Telephone Sunday's (from 10.00am): 07885 792711. Dates unavailable due to the B.I.C. in use are 14th & 21st June.

Times:11.00am to 5.00pm
Location: Christchurch Quay, Queens Ave Hales Street

 Grin You will find there are a lot of odd people in Darrrset, Bournemouth International Centre the event takes place in front of the BIC along the prom.

O.K, now I'm confused. The BIC's in Bournemouth. Christchurch quay's 5 miles away.

Well I'm glad I didn't go to Christchurch Quay as I was planning - I did wonder why the BIC had anything to do with it - and it didn't!  But then neither did Christchurch!

It's usually on the seafront behind the BIC but that's closed because of a landslip, so it was in Kings Park.  Other days in the summer it's on Christchurch Quay (or at least on the grass behind the Quay) - it's all in the link that Tony put up.
