Just too many on the go, main one being the house. Plus lucky enough to have 2 bikes on the road to ride and a missus who likes to do stuff.

Sacrifice working on stuff for having fun sometimes.

Had a quick one this afternoon with Tom on the bike as I was home bound on god/guide parent duty

The new flywheel puller came the other day so off came the old stator in a jiffy. Then most impressively the wiring kit that I have is pretty much all plug and play so was wired in minutes.

Quick kick over and spark at both plugs, so nipped out and got some carb cleaner, which fired straight into the mouths and 2nd kick up she went!

Very cool hour or so spent playing. Very satisfying to know the bike works still.

Jobs left to do are mount the tank, get some front lines made and double check the timing as it was kicking back a bit.

2 very happy boys in the garage this afternoon

Forgot to update this. Have had it running off a bag no problem at all. Need to get the timing fine tuned though, then can get the clutch cover back together and start to hide the wiring etc.

It’s taken a back seat as we’ve been going hard on the house. Should get the bathroom in this weekend and then be freed up a bit more again

Would’ve carried on with the other one, but my mask was dead, so giving it a charge so I don’t get funny eyes

Nice step forward last night.

One of the issues was with the tank I was runnning being a lower mount it used to hit on the top engine mount nuts and not actually fit. Me and a buddy last night machined up 2 threaded inserts so the mount could be countersunk from each end. It’s worked really well and now the tank is on properly which is awesome.

Just need to pull my finger out and run the wiring properly next

getting there, although that might be it until after the wedding now

I didn't get  a picture but junked the front mudguard and it looks way better without it, although I think the forks could do with a couple inches of lowering as well along with a 21 in the front instead of the 18

Maybe!

Put the clutch cover on and seem to be able to get all the gears. Lost the front guard and think it looks better but will be a pain in the wet like the old one. Need some brake lines, finish / hide the wiring and some small tidying up and it’s pretty much there
