Even being apart of this project from the start (and ever so slightly responsible for convincing Kev to do this over a roast dinner),
I still love to look back from the start and watch it build up again, and non of us can get over what we have created when its was outside..
For me its the friendship and memories made with these guys that stick out and cannot wait for it to be done; not only to drive it but I think its my projects turn for some attention ! lol

Much progress has been made but am unable to upload pics from photobucket . This problem has been going on for days to the point that I no longer we be updating as I will not waste any more time with stupid bloody computers. Hate them.
So you may have to wait till its at the track to see the finished car.

Regards

So, we are back but photobucket has lost everything, all gone. Great. Angry
Finished up the welding on the parts we could not get to before and cleaned up ready for paint.

Just seen someone say elsewhere that Photbucket has been on the blink but his photos have reappeared, might be worth having another look!

Am back using photobucket at the moment but  every album has gone, nothing, so am reloading old and new pics again and slowly editing the old posts with new links. May take a few months to get it all back at this rate.
Anyways, cleaned and painted a few parts and finished the frame.

And then started working out all the different nuts bolts and washers needed. All just finger tight at the moment but hopefully this is the start of the real build now. Just like a giant meccano toy really  Grin

Steering rack is from an off-road buggy website, can't remember might be 'Joyner' or something.  £250 inc the UJ's and steering wheel boss.

It's a bit of an odd feeling really as this is the furthest I have ever got in any project. A mixture of happiness seeing it come to life but also sort of sad now the challenge is coming to an end. I suppose if it was built for competition or record attempts we would only just be getting close to even starting the whole challenge. So just aiming to get to get to the end of the 1/4mile isn't too far away.

Don't worry it will be done. Fitted front and rear axles , and the seat tonight. Celebrated the fact its back on its wheels with Portus gin and a slice of ginger root, very nice.
