D72 British Bellytank Put a bar across for the shoulder straps. Made sure we had enough clearance to still get a socket on the nuts for the seat mounts.

D72 British Bellytank Looked at the bottom mount and needed somewhere for the crotch mount and felt we needed a bit more protection, D72 British Bellytank And put in this brace made from an old metal pallet foot. Must be 1/4" thick and runs directly under the drivers most delicate parts in case we ground out anytime.

Holes in the axle was always part of the plan but may be a winter job once finished as time is running out at the moment.

Put another eyelet through the lower seat brace which comes out the hole in the seat and connects to the crotch belt. Job done! 5 point harness and seat to keep us safe. Bit more to finish but will do towards the end. Radiator, battery and fuel tank next. D72 British Bellytank D72 British Bellytank

Nice. Swages look good too. Are there regulations on the clearance around the lap belt slots? Rubber edging bead to stop them chafing? A really interesting build.

May well be regulations but not for RWYB, as long as they are there and undamaged. Have some edging to go on the seat and was going to flare the harness slots for clearance. If that fails will just make slots larger and use the edging on them.
