And other side, here you can see the engine mounted to the jig and the rear axle supports. Loads of measuring and double checking to get them in position and then build the frame around them.

Machined up a spacer for gearbox and re-drilled input flange on gearbox to match the sherpa diff so every thing is aligned. Somehow this picture makes the temp bolts look wrong but it is perfectly true.
Now we can start with the engine, gearbox and axle mounts.

I called in on my brother Steve at his workshop in Wiltshire today. Dave was there too, ("The Ferret" altered? -the guy who broke his foot earlier this season when he ran it over while pushing the car). Steve's building a new rollcage for "Oblivion", the Avenger bodied funny car at the moment. They both said to say Hi.  Wink
