Sorry, am I missing something here? Where does it say he's cut the chassis about? Scimitars came with double "A" arm and five link suspensions as standard, so no modifications there. Also had rack and pion steering as standard. |

Also says has V5 document rather than V5C , may be nomenclatureerror or not. Certianly won't be able to do a rebody IF not already in Historic class as it's been clamped right down on. IE In Historic then rebody possible if no chassis mods, if not in Historic then won't be allowed to enter if body swap already done .

So stinky was right this time, surprising how many cars and reliant trikes are being offloaded just recently, maybe they are starting to listen to you Kev  Would running boards have covered the removed parts if they have been removed?? Stix |

so if the frame has been chopped what does that mean,it would need sva'd.it's nowhere near finished so would that be all that big a deal given the price? or am i missing something

Stix Yup, seen them done using untouched chassis with a running board and full fender with a blister for front suspension. Not trad' enough for many but still a simpler way to legally have a rod. BIVA for rods isn't that difficult but can be daunting to the newcomer. |

Most don't won't to BIVA and are wary of the cut chassis . If you are willing to actual USE BIVA then it is a cheap project . Light trucks come under N1 rules and though nowhere near as lax as the old commercial SVA there are quite a few get outs for exterior radius. |

i never said the chassis WAS cut ? But I couldn't see the outriggers etc ? So I GUESSED it ?  Sorry, am I missing something here? Where does it say he's cut the chassis about? Agree with Kev here. If you are willing to go the BIVA route and are not worried about traditional looks, then it could be a good starting point. Hope whoever buys it has a realistic idea as to what it will take to finish and get it on the road.
If the price goes too high, then you know they probably don't.
