Honda RA300 V12 from 1967.

It had 48 valves and made 400HP

Tony,
I wonder if that is the same Honda we saw break in half as it exited Paddock Hill at Brands and 'kissed' the Armco on the way up to Druids many years ago?

If it is, reckon it took a bit more than an old fairy liquid bottle and some sticky-back-plastic to put it back together again. "we will fix it, we will stitch it, we will make it new, new, new"  Grin

Erm, who is it?
Great photos. I'm always impressed by the engineering in those centre pieces.

I met Billy G at one of the Goodwood breakfast meets, back in 2009.
Absolutely torrential rain, but he was quite happy to grin for the camera.  Cool
