A 110 year old Renault type AK 12.9 litre 4 pot.
One of these AK Renault's won the first ever Grand Prix (run over 2 days on un-surface roads) at Le Man in 1906

The incredible Napier-Railton Special.
Dating from 1933, it has a 12.9 litre W12 Napier Lion aero engine, and holds the outright record at Brooklands.
If you'd like to see it, it resides at the Brooklands museum (when its not out at shows or events)

So, how about being able to spin the wheels at 100mph, having nearly 630ft/lbs of torque and a more than 500hp, a V16 of 6 litres (supercharged of course!) in a car weighing in at around 750kg - oh, and all this back in 1936!!
Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason at the wheel of the amazing Auto Union Type C.
The double back wheels were often used when the car was doing hillclimbs

Tony, I wonder if that is the same Honda we saw break in half as it exited Paddock Hill at Brands and 'kissed' the Armco on the way up to Druids many years ago?

OK, weather was good this morning, but unfortunately by about Lunch time it was raining. Not so much to put a stop on things, but enough to bring on the mud again. Really struggled to get out of the Molecome car park, and I was one of the first 10% of cars to leave (at around 2). I did manage to catch up with friends that had flown in for the weekend, so all was cool. So here’s a collection of bits and pieces that floated my boat this time. Hondas stand, once again, was brilliant. See I’m just a kid at heart! A toy garage, after last years cars in dinky/corgi boxes. GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED' GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED' GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED' GOODWOOD FESTIVAL OF SPEED' I’ll put some more up after I’ve had some dinner!!

That certain Mr Gibbons was playing Glastonbury's main stage on Fri. BBC4 showed 30 mins of the set which included Tush, La Grange, Sharp Dressed Man. Not bad at all - now where are my Cheap Sunglasses? Photo is the inside of Billy's Whiskeyrunner
