I've never forgotten when I used to work on the farm, the cows were in the covered yard cos it was winter, one of them dropped a calf that wasn't breathing and no-one was there except me - I'll always remember the satisfaction of getting to start breathing!

Pity it grew up to be a totally useless cow and had to go to market!

I'm sure you don't really want to know but.........

A good cow will give 4 gallons of milk every day.

A really good cow will give 6 gallons a day!

A cow that only gives 2 gallons a day gets sent to market.......

Does anybody tell the cows that? That's a lot of pressure to perform. I think I'd struggle under those circumstances.

That's a shame mate. A beautiful day here. Tempted to hop in the van & nip up there myself, (45 minutes away from here), but determined to get some work done on the trike -so, I'd better get my bottom in gear then.
