The first programme of the new series was Wed 11th Nov, but there's a repeat on Tues 17th.

There's a feature about Paul Sample, the illustrator behind "Ogri", which IMHO is worth a look see because of his comparison of Ogri's chum Malcolm with that of the presenter of the programme. Check out the Malcolm link below  Grin   Grin   Grin

They also tackle a late 70's / early 80's Triumph twin chop rebuild/resto.

We love Bangers and Cash!  It's the best car (and bike) programme on tv - no bulls**t, no-one trying to be anything they're not, no over-dramatising, just a great, really entertaining programme!   We don't even care how many times we watch repeats either.

Secrets of the Transport Museum.

Tues 30th March 2021  (the first of 10 scheduled episodes, so maybe its time to fire up the old Betamax)

Yesterday  8.00pm

A programme looking behind the scenes at the Brooklands Museum in Weybridge, Surrey.
For info, Brooklands was the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit.

From the Brooklands website:
Go Behind the Scenes at Brooklands Museum

Welcome to Brooklands, the birthplace of motor racing, a powerhouse of British engineering, and home to one of the world's most extraordinary collections of historic vehicles, with their roots embedded in this incredible site.

With hundreds of cars, aircraft, buses and motorbikes, maintaining a collection like this is no mean feat. An army of volunteers work day-in, and day-out to keep these crown jewels of British transport in tip-top condition.

In this new UKTV series by Middlechild Productions airing Tuesdays from 30th March at 8pm on Yesterday channel, we follow the engineers and speed fanatics responsible for ensuring these magnificent machines can fly, race and drive another day.

Watching this one at the moment. I've moved in with my girlfriend so now have access to a tellybox -they'll never catch on.
Nice to see somewhere I know, although obviously it features the usual "reality" TV fake jeapordy -will they fix it in time? Of course they will, just in time for a happy ending.
Nice motors though Smiley

Tellybox - is at 405 lines or the more modern 625 lines monochrome, I hear 625 is a bit better. Rumour has it, the boffins are trying to make a tellybox that will receive colour - yeah right!  Grin

Jeopardy - agree  Cheesy. If memory serves me, seem to remember something along the lines of "catastrophic failure" and "major disaster" being used in the progs so far.

Let's hope the prog gets some of the younger generation interested in "spannering" eh.

The team checking for corrosion on Concorde's wing referred to ACF-50.
For those interested, here's a link to the product.
