well the body is still in the garage, on the look out locally for a cheap later modeled chassis vehicle,
so not given up on it.

going to get back onto this in new year, been putting shout out for a rolling chassis but no luck yet. why do people think they're worth a million pound!!!!  not talking anything old, just 90's vehicles!!! think there's a lot of dreamers out there.

Find yourself a cheap Scimitar & pull it apart mate. Or bite the bullet & build from scratch for BIVA testing?
I had my Pop chassis rails welded up by Jimmy at Valley Gas Speed Shop in Berkshire, (now in Hampshire), for 500 quid. One off, basic side rails & front & rear cross members with front spring perch, although we later dropped the front lower & extended the back. I ain't rich, so it was a lot of cash to find, but Loon & I weren't confident we could build it level & true so it was worth getting right to give us a good base to start from.
Glad to hear you haven't given up on this one Chris. Personally I think your cab roof could do with some curves, but I love the bulkhead. It'll be interesting to see where you go with it.  Wink

i seem to be a taxi at the moment as he's at sixth form(2nd yr) and working.
he wants to get a advanced apprenticeship when finished his advanced b-tec.
