The early 1970's Triumph Hurricane is considered by many to be a styling icon, but prices for one of these is the best part of £20,000. There was an aftermarket tank/seat unit around a lot of years ago to the let the owners of OIF (Oil In Frame) Triumphs & BSAs get a taste of the style. They're pretty rare nowadays, but one has just come up on ebay running until 16 April 23:12. Current bidding is around £370 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRIUMPH-HURRICANE-TANK-SEAT-UNIT-OIF-BSA-650-750-T120-T140-TRACKER-/251908611968

Recently Phil Little Racing has started to sell a "Storm" body kit resembling the Hurricane, but this is for the XS650 Yam, priced round $1000. What d'ya reckon? http://thekneeslider.com/storm-conversion-kit-for-the-yamaha-650-from-phil-little-racing/

Ive seen a triumph at the kickback custom show at donnington park last september. It was parked outside...I,me sure I have some pictures of it. It was a modern triumph {water cooled} but had a hurricane kit on it. If I got the pics I will stick em on here.

On the side of the bodykit, its got X-57 instead of the original X-75. I think the original donor bike is the triumph trident. Also, just noticed the air filters are in keeping with the retro look. I cant believe this bike was parked outside the show...and not inside on display.

used to buy bikes in florida, the triumph scene is pretty good, far far more than here, went to see a guy who did engines up, and got lookin around his rather large garage, I noticed a hurricane, and said what you doing ? collecting every model triumph? "I,m trying" he said, "why?" I said its pretty rare even in the usa to have a hurricane, "oh" he replied, "i got more of those", and whipped off a cover in the corner to reveal another FOUR he liked that model, apparently...

Just noticed X-57 appears to be missing a radiator. Either it's hidden somewhere ( odd as the original had a cooler up front) or it has fallen off. Might explain the damp patch underneath.
