hello every one I have acquired a b tyre axle for a Build of mine took the break covers off and I have noticed that one side turnes at normal speed and the other side is very slow when turning shaft. Is this right or is there some think seriously wrong

Chances are that it did  Don't worry about it as long as both sides turn and there are no horrid noises. Lock one side at a time to check all is ok.

Also if you have it apart count the number of teeth on the crown and pinion wheels just to make sure its a B type What type of trike you building reliant or bike engine

I checked it today and it does rotate the other way. Still slow ill have to strip it all down and try to find whats going on with it. Any one got a maual for stripping. Easy to hard job etc

Hi ash. your axle is fine they all do it. it they both turned together in the same direction then you would have problems. what are you putting on reliant or bike engine

Terry is correct. The fact that one side rotates the other way, or at a different speed really is not a problem. If they rotated the same way and at the same speed it would mean you had a welded or locked diff.

I'm waiting on a hard tail frame. Would of liked a v twin as the donor engine but frame is made for an tea pot engine. Brought the axle on a whim say b on the stamp.can get pic

No that's fine we all know what a reliant axle looks like. it just there were some out there sold as B type but are infact A 3.23

If you use that tea pot engine check drive rotation as you may have to turn the axle over
