Just a few piccies of a tuned Reliant lump to maybe inspire you.
Fiesta Weber carb fitted to an early 750cc Reliant manifold, belt driven oil pump with remote filter, 4 into 1 exhaust, Metro electronic distributor etc, etc.

without being an anorak the festers pump is driven off the camshaft. not my ideal way of uprating the oil pressure as it puts an awful lot of strain on the timing chain and tensioner as well as the cam bearings. but thats just my opinion not to say its not a good conversion.

or me!depends on what budget you,ve got to spend! as to how fast you can go! the little reli motor is very tunable but the parts can be very expensive! it is possible to bore them to just under a 1000cc safetly! but then the cost goes up having a new h/gasket made cylinder head work to match the gasket faces. i am doing an article for this site on tuning the motor but first i gotta finish the frame etc before i start on the motor!
