Pat & Derek are possibly the nicest people I know. A lovely couple & I'm pleased to call them good friends. They also happen to be passionate about cars, particularly classic American cars & huge American trucks.
They run a catering business, based around a fleet of converted classic commercial vehicles, which lets them mix business with their hobby.
They own 2 or 3 acres of land just outside the village of Chiddingfold in Surrey & once in a while they host a bit of a get-together. Archie, Mrs Archie & I called in there this afternoon. The place is stuffed with vehicles & automobilia so always interesting to mooch around. Derek specialises in rebuilding engines -how many American V8s have you got here at the moment Del? Ooh, I dunno, 15 maybe. A pleasant way to spend a sunny afternoon. Thanks for the hospitality guys.
