Hi Everyone, I just joined yesterday after following for a while after buying my trike. Brilliant site full of great info.I live in West Cumbria and have had my trike for about 6 months, My trike is a Russian "ural wolf" 750 ( based on a Cossack neval etc.) Anyway I've decided to do the disc conversion as it has a reliant axle, I've read through most of the posts and have found the link to the calliper plate bracket but when i click it it can not be found. has it been removed or am i doing something wrong. many thanks phil

Hiya -& welcome to the forum. We had a major crash on the site a couple of years ago, (got hit by a virus), & lost a lot of info. It was mainly photos, but may have included that file too. Anyone got a copy?

Hello Phil, and welcome. Your trike sounds interesting, so now you've exposed yourself (so to speak) you have got to show us some pictures (thought I'd beat Merv to it)

Hi, Terry, sorry I've seen that. The file I'm after has to scale measurements and is computer drawn, idea being to print it out cut it out and stick it to your plate to cut out. I think there's a picture of it in a thread "making calliper plate" or something like that. Thanks anyway. Mendalot, I will take some pictures soon and post them on, probably on a new thread to save confusion. Thanks for the interest . Cheers Phil

I did have half a dozen photocopies of that, but posted several out to various forum members, then lost the remainder when I moved house. I wrote a short article for 100% Biker magazine many years ago, describing the conversion & included a drawing, but it wasn't to scale. A couple of people have produced & sold the plates on Ebay since then. Some have contacted me first, some haven't. There's nothing particularly clever about it & I've always figured if it helps someone get on the road then it's fine by me. Buying a ready made set's probably easier/cheaper than making them.

Thanks for all the advice, i've seen the ones on ebay but as i have the materials and equipment i thought i would make them.I suppose when my callipers arrive i should be able to set a mock up and maybe take measurements from that, Alas you are probably right and it would be easier to buy a set. Many thanks Phil

Not a cad file but this might be of help. Measurements taken from a plate I have (but not fitted). So check with axle and carrier. Note-The 54 dim on the right should be 53mm
