1  Building a Dream
Bike mad TV presenter Henry Cole is going to attempt a world land speed record for a classic motorcycle on The Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, America. In this first programme Henry completes successfully a series of test rides only to suffer a big crash while training for the attempt. He suffers some broken bones and undergoes an operation. Will time allow for his rehabilitation or will Henry be unable to fulfil a once in a lifetime opportunity to secure a land speed record on The Bonneville Salt Flats?

With only a few weeks to spare Henry Cole is passed fit by his doctor to run at Bonneville but before there's work to be done in Los Angeles to prepare the bikes for The Salt. He flies there and meets up with the thirty strong team at legendary US chat show host Jay Leno's workshops. Jay's workshop is world famous and Jay gives Henry an exclusive tour of his 200 plus motorcycle collection while the team prepare for what lies ahead. Henry also has time to reflect on the custom bike building culture in Los Angeles visiting two of the most influential builders in California. 3  Utah No Turning Back
While the team tests the bikes, Henry Cole meets some of the wonderfully eccentric racers who return to Bonneville year after year to quench their addiction for speed. Then, after a year of preparation and planning Henry now waits in the unrelenting heat while the two other works riders try and secure their land speed records over the first few days of competition. But after battling freak thunder storms and technical nightmares Henry is set to have his turn to make motorcycling history and ride a pre 1955 classic motorcycle quicker than anyone else has ever ridden it. Henry is about to endure a potentially life threatening experience.

Tried watching this a couple of times - nice exciting title etc - and had to turn it off as the presenter is as bland as they come. It makes almost frustrating to watch.
