Been SO looking forward to getting Gertie taxed and on the road on 1 April - had to really restrain myself from doing it earlier while the weather's been so good, so that the 6 months would include September - got online on Tuesday and found my MOT had run out! Damn damn damn - wanted to go to the first 2014 Poole Bike Night to meet a new bunch of bikers I've met online!
Got it booked in for Friday morning at 8am, which means I have to get up at some unearthly hour to get there.
Got a question about my handbrake, which is always a bit of an issue. If I pull it up gently, I can still move the trike a bit, but if I pull it up sharply, it holds against me pulling - reckon this will be good enough? I've got some horrible idea in the back of my mind that it's only supposed to need 3 clicks.....
