Yep.
Got fed up with people looking at it and then asking, what make of engine is it?
At least now they have some excuse for not knowing.

Planning on doing the same to the Reliant motor in Loony & my T bucket roadster. We'll probably get Loon's Dad to mill the lettering off. What method did you use Dave?

Nothing as high tech as a mill !
Mallet and chisel, followed by a wire brush in a drill. The ally is so soft that I used a small wood chisel.

It' just a cover for the starter motor and associated wiring. The later starters like mine are the pre engaged type, with a big solenoid attached. This hit my ankle and also looked pugly.

Bit cold in the garage for that sort of thing. But I can always dream.

Looking really neat .
Just a wee suggestion regarding the fuel pump .
If that is the plastic top version I would change it soon as possible due to the fact that a good few owners have had the pipe stubs come loose and , in one case I know of , detach completely !!!
.
What is a scantily clad female
?
