Evenin' chaps.

Well, I woke up this morning to the sound of rain on the window & could quite happily have turned over & gone back to sleep. Wasn't feeling enthusiastic at all, but arrangements had been made & people were making the effort to come along & do their bit, so the show had to go on.
I'm so glad we went ahead with it though. By lunchtime the grey clouds had blown away to leave a warm, sunny afternoon & it turned into a cracking day out. As always, you lot did us proud! We definitely have the most varied, interesting mix of machines & probably the most welcoming, well informed hosts on hand to chat to Joe Public too. The punters do seem to like the weird stuff we bring along. Every machine on our pitch had it's share of admirers & I spoke to at least 3 different show goers who told me they like our corner of the field cos they never know what they're going to find there!
You did splendidly gentlemen, as you always do. Thank you.

For once, I actually managed to escape for a couple of hours & have a mooch around the rest of the show & even managed to hand over photographing duties to Janie, (just sorting out the pics now). I did try to chat to all of you, but if I missed anyone, erm, Hello!
Special thanks this year go to:
Mr Olds for making up the website banner supports at short notice, as well as creating this year's MMMotors trophy, (every year we make a trophy & decide on the day who to give it to & why).
Mr Galaxie for the quietly efficient catering & providing the gazebo, (the pecan pie was fabulous mate).
Mr Twisted for transporting my own project to the show & back at very short notice.
Every year I approach the show thinking Never again, it's too much hassle to organise -& every year I leave thinking That was great! Let's do it again next year!
Thanks for a brilliant day.
