different rear lights are in the plan as originals remind me of trailer lights.
will mount the fog light up in the panel, think they will be round lucas ones.

paint here, new roof and repair panel ordered, few days off so lets hope for good weather.

roof is going to be something different to normal Grin

Loony & I were driving around Basingstoke yesterday & passed a guy working on a 2CV at the side of the road. Not sure if he lived there or had broken down, but in an hour or so he'd completely stripped the front end bodywork, done some work on the engine & replaced everything -at least they're easy to work on!

one panel replaced!!!
first job, remove boot lid, easy as there are no end caps!!!
just slide it off.


as you can see, rather rusty!!!


rather a lot missing.




and how it should look.



back together and re-taped.



found the end caps under the dash!!

hope to get new hood material/sheet tomorrow.
