Ok, not quite here yet but it's drawing closer! This should at least give you plenty of time to reflect!
So, what were your own highs and lows of 2013?

The death of my father in law was a major low, the birth of my 3rd grandson was a major high.

A bit shallow by comparison, but the low for me was splitting up with Tazet & facing the New Year on my own in a rented room in a shared house, (something I've come to quite like now).
The highs were finally getting my truck finished, registered & out there on the road, thanks to a lot of help from a lot of you guys. Thank you.
Now I'm in my early 50s, I've decided I need to start doing all the things I've always wanted to while there's still time. I've always loved travelling & want to see the World, or as much of it as I can, so in October I took the plunge & flew to Canada to stay with my sister for 3 weeks. The first time I'd been out of the country in nearly 30 years. Having survived that & loved every minute of it, Mr Loon & I then drove the truck to Holland & back in November, which was particularly special because we went in a vehicle we'd built ourselves.
Already got 2 trips to Belgium & returns to Canada & Holland pencilled in for next year.

For myself the year has been a good one apart from the death of my brother in law.
A bit like Andy the highs include getting the trike finished, MSVA'd and legally on the road. Another big point this year was the marriage of our son
(he's someone else's problem now  Grin).
I have also made a lot of new friends over the past year, thanks mainly to this site. Kiss
