its not often i get wound up but......has anyone heard if there is a "disaster fund" for the unfortunate people who sadly lost their homes & possesions on the eastcoast of uk in the past couple of days?

it make me mad that as soon as there are problems in other parts of the world we are asked to dig into our pockets to send money/food/clothes to these far flung places!!! well all i can say is, im sorry for your misfortune but f**k off, i think the people in our own country should come first.

thats my bit said Angry

a local group has been formed up here to help those in need locally by collecting donations mainly consisting of furniture and food goods,,immediate essentials etc . and delivering them to those in desperate need .

Maybe you can let us know, Mike, if you hear of a fund being started?  Then we can help publicise, partiocularly those of us who are on facebook.
