so as it happens,, today and tommorrow was forecast as the best as regards weather that we are likely to see for the next week or so so ,mr ready mix ( lafarge) was called this morning to order the delivery ,,,,the price had gone up so they were promtly ,sacked,, and more phone calls made,, which resulted in ,mr batchmix, all the way from doncaster giving the best price (£140 cheaper than lafarge inc delivery over 20 miles) they said they could send it in a small truck and maybe do two runs as access is very,,very,, tight down a ten foot entry with a r/h bend partway down which now measures 9 foot due to a leaning wall that no one dare go near and a thick privet/hawthorne hedge and a tree. so guess what turned up a 6 wheeler the driver was a ,diamond ,geezer,, after struggling at the first attemp he reversed all the way down and round oldmetalhead, on here knows how tight it is

What are you going to do with the 'hole' till you sort the pit?

we had a tremendus storm and high winds last night and i was so worried about the concrete getting spoilt i was up at 3am checking and making things safe,, luckily we had the vital area sort of covered and the fence,, strategictly placed vehicles, and the old shortened garage kept 99.5% of the weather off thank god so by lunvh time today it was set enough to ,gently,, walk on going to leave it a couple of days then organise the block work which there maybe a chance of getting done between christmas and new years eve,,
