Santa Pod goes back to the way we were with Dragstalgia, a weekend dedicated to drag racing, hot rods and bikes from a bygone era with classic dragsters and funny cars, altereds, hot rods, American muscle and more.

There will be Championship Drag Racing and Run What Ya Brung sessions on the track along with the a Jet Car and 2 seater Dragster Rides. Off track there will be Show & Shine, Live Music, Traders, Cacklefest, Historic Car Display and more.

Dragstalgia will Feature:

Drag Racing
 National classes racing at Dragstalgia include:
•Nostalgia Funny Cars
 Nitro and methanol nostalgia funny cars.
•Gasser Circus
 High riding gassers.
•Wild Bunch
 Predominantly slingshots and altereds.
•Supercharged Outlaws
 Supercharged dragsters, altereds and door slammers.

•1st Annual Willys Wars
 New for 2014.
•Superstock
 Heads up shootout for pre 72 American bodied cars with stock rear suspension, carbs only no power adders, slicks are allowed.
•NSA Bike Shootout
 Some of the most historic Drag Bikes around will be taking part in a shootout.

As far as I know, ITV4’s “The Motorbike Show” has some coverage of the 2014 Dragstalgia event showing on Monday 1st Sept at 9pm.

It should be noted that this is presented by Henry Cole.
