I was having one of them days all, I was looking through the set I had posted and did not think of that one.
Andy, its in Cardiff bay just outside the new Assembly rooms. Its a monument to all the people lost during the wars.

The merchant seafarers war memorial was created in 1994 by a charitable organisation, the Cardiff Bay Arts Trust. The memorial was commissioned to honour those who served in Merchant service, sadly caught up in armed conflict - in particular, those from the Cardiff Bay area.
The memorial was created and formed by Brian Fell, his father a merchant seaman. Brian learnt all he needed to construct the memorial from the tales he had keenly paid attention to from his father.
This really is an amazing piece of art. It can be viewed from many different aspects; It is at once a bold, simple face shaped out of metal and the hull of a ship. This trick of seeing the same object in two completely different ways was used by Dali in a number of his works; the sense of changing perspective invites us to look more closely at the object to work out its true meaning."
