That's what I do with my emails cos my NTL account "times out" after a few minutes if I don't send it. Could write shorter emails I guess.
People need pushing a bit Bobbi. It's a nightmare trying to organise stuff isn't it. I took on an Easter Egg run for the Newbury MAG group a few years ago. Thought it'd be easy & everyone would pitch in. Ended up doing the lot myself & tearing my hair out. Never again. Come on you lot, step forward & be counted if you want to go.
I mentioned a pub called the Air Balloon at Birdlip, near Gloucester, sat on top of a hill at a local beauty spot. PantherShaun fancied a run there sometime. Just out of interest, would anyone be interested in a Sunday lunchtime meet up -say once a month, next Summer?

Oi Manky!

This may be your site but don't go turning the Cornwall thread into a Gloucester thread!  Star a new one if you please!

The list of shows for 2007 at the Minack Theatre is now online
http://www.minack.com/theatregoers/whatson.htm

Have a look and see what you fancy, or what you definitely don't fancy.
Me, I don't want to see Carmen (opera) or Les Miserables!

I'd love to see The Tempest but thats bang in the middle of the summer season and traffic would be hellish!

Edit - just noticed a major problem with making this a FRi Sat Sun Mon trip - the theatre only appears to operate on weekdays!  Except for 15 Sept (HMS Pinafore) and 23 Sept (Proms)

Ooh, ooh! I vote for the proms! Do we get to wave flags & sing all those patriotic songs we're not allowed to sing anymore? September should still be warm enough for camping shouldn't it?

I'd like the proms too!  September is warm enough for camping for me, but then I camp at the end of October.   I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like it!

You talk like I've never camped ever. Used to be a hardened tent dweller in my teens. We camped right through the Winter -spent many a cold & soggy night halfway up a Welsh mountainside in a howling gale, telling myself I was having fun.
So are we going for September then Bobbi? If no-one else is going to speak up we'll have to come up with a date then just say Is anyone else free to go here on this date? Would give everyone plenty of time to organise holiday dates anyway.

Fair enough, lets go for September - and if people want to go to the Minack Theatre they can book their ownb tickets!  Reckon booking early would be good as it's the last event of the year there!

I fancy waving a Union flag too!

The site says "Bring flags, horns (!) and whistles"

Sounds good to me!

I've updated the thread title to say it's 21 - 24 September.

Unless there are any major objections I'll book my leave tomorrow!

Come on people. Speak up. Anyone else fancy this?
Still waiting to hear what leave I've been allocated for next year Bobbi, but I'll suddenly fall ill for a few days if necessary. Yup, put me down for the 21st to 24th.
