Nice piccies Mr Manky Sir, and sunshine too. (that's summer done and dusted then!)

The Wellington bomber (designed by Barnes Wallace) that's on display was retrieved from its murky resting place way back in 1985 (the best part of 30 years ago). I can even remember the TV news covering the event.  Roll Eyes

The Hurricane, as best as I know has finished it's restoration. The engine was a recent addition (a gift me thinks), and they just managed to get it running for the recent (75th ?) celebrations.

Blue car on page 4 is (I think) a very rare Iso Grifo. Italian made with a Chevrolet V8 under the bonnet.

You is a mine of information Sir.
They had a bouncing bomb there too. Must be my age -wouldn't have dreamt of wandering around museums a few years ago, but find 'em absolutely fascinating now.
