Engine problems meant I didn't take the Pop, but I did take a For Sale sign for the Charger.
Actually had a guy follow me from the meet to the barn in Guildford where the Charger's stored to view it, but haven't heard any more from him yet. Oh, & I reversed out of a parking space at the museum, straight into a passing Range Rover. Gonna cost me several hundred quid to repair his damaged paint or go through the insurance now. So a day of mixed fortunes.
A good turn out of muscle cars though, no doubt helped by the sun finally making an appearance. Brooklands is a fascinating place. Famous for car racing, bike racing & aviation. Several hangers of vintage race cars, as well as a huge display of wartime aircraft, various airliners, one of the Concorde supersonic aircraft, the London Bus museum -loads to interest any petrolhead.
This year's Mopar meet was also open to hotrods, which were directed into an adjoining carpark, with the main paddock enclosure reserved for the muscle machinery. A good day out & great value for 10 quid.
