hi,
had my 2.8 cologne running and from the start theres been a terrible noise from top area, oil and filter changed, not water pump or alternator, seems to be a very mechanical grinding sound from top end, not a tapping or banging noise. will try to get a video up of noise, but anyone got any ideas? beggining to think i need to look for another engine as this was bought very cheaply unknown condition. (not an open cheque build either!!!)

any pointers or help please.

cheers chris.

Didn't Mr CunningPlan have a spun bearing on his race motor recently?

Cologne v6's had plastic drive gears (kid you not google it) Sounds like the pump gear has stripped hence next to no oil pressure just enough to put the light out and not a lot more. Shocked Shocked Shocked
