I thought I'd found a secret stash no-one knew about, but apparently they're common knowledge locally. The owner, who owns the whole yard, collects them & knows just what he's got & what they're worth. He won't sell anything. Some are way too far gone to really do much with, but they're fascinating to wander around. They'd make a great back-drop for some arty vehicle photos.

There's a bloke near here who had a garage business plus truck and car hire and plant hire and just about anything else he could dip his finger in, he finally handed over to his son when he was about 75.  People locally used to say he was a millionaire but you'd never know it, gyppo looking bloke driving round in an old Toyota with no 3rd gear......

He had a scrapyard of cars and trucks (not old ones like those) that he never did anything with, he used to say it was his retirement fund - I wonder if it's all still there?
