Girder fork?
Being inspired by panthershauns inspiration thread i naturaly got to thinking girder forks, like you do at times like this. After all what else would you think about when the world is about to end. Grin Grin
Now on the WWWeb are there any sites that show a diagram on a set of standard type girder forks mor proportions link lengths etc to make them work properly straight out of the box, if there is such a site please be kind emough to post up a link here would you. Or allternatively any more knowledgable than me on girders ( not hard trust me here Grin) care to offer advice on getting the rake angles and linkages etc something like right, construction advice etc, much appreciated.  Smiley

First chance I get, between rain showers!! I'll do that Mr. N. but why anyone in their right mind would go for "Girders", over "Teles" beats me, I used them back in the day when there was little in the way of reasonable alternatives around, but with the ubiquitous telescopic fork readily available nowadays?? indeed for a trike the "Earles" type of fork is infinitely preferable, still, each to his own I suppose Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Sounds good to me Dave thanks. Girders look the part on a classic style exersise like panther shouns doing, a fork project wont break the bank or take up much room, so i will have a do at that, and store for a day when i use.  Wink
Even if i croak afore i use em my  young uns share my passion for stuff like this so they can use them in that case.  Wink

You speak my language Morrag, leading links rule Smiley.

They just don't have the look for some peeps though, I have a set of sprinters waiting for a refurb and I love the look of the girders dodger mad for his V8 but the difference in handling when I fitted leading links on my first big outfit was unbelievable.
