Ive just looked at buying an air compressor. Taken the details of it,but cant find this model or stats for it. Do these markings make sense to anyone? I know nowt about compressors! Model..01-220-50 CM-1.5 HANDIAIR COMPAIR AND ITS A 1998 MODEL .. Note.(it doesnt say CFM,just CM)
  Im guessing..
   220 = voltage
  1.5 = motor power ,(as in 1.5 hp.)

Their stuff is surprisingly good quality. I know someone that bought one of their 1.5 HP ones a few years ago and still going strong and never broke yet.
