Right what's this carb problem you mentioned elsewhere?
hi, kev its hard to explain but everytime i run it and warm it up it runs totally differant  Roll Eyes
i,m running it on the pipe work that came with it and it has a 3/8ths copper pipe from the tank to the mechanical lift pump and a return from the lift pump back to the tank but thats only 3/16ths (brake pipe size) i,m wondring if its part of the problem? ,as the mixtur tends to varie quite abit and the choke is an odd set up (odd to me   Roll Eyes as it works of vacume temp on the inlet manifold,, i,m sorley tempted to make a manual conversion (if only temporey)
the mixture variation is so bad at times that i,ve had black soot smoke out of the exhuast at on point,,, and bright blue flame,s at another ,
i can,t run it at the moment as i,v got other bits of it,, but before i run it again i,m going to clean the carb out and blow the jets through,

hi terry , thats the unesual thing about it  its factory made return from the top of the mechanical pump but its a smaller bore than the carb feed , it seems to me as though the carb is getting to much or varieing fuel pressure ,, Roll Eyes
may try running it on a gravity feed and see if its any better ,,

Mike the third pipe goes to the fuel vapor canister. it has be some thing to do with fuel emission's you will need the manual to find out where they go
