Try emailing forum member Triker Pete down in the New Forest. He fitted 1" switchgear on his trike & I think he may have had spare switch units -might include the cylinder. He seems to find all sorts of bargain bits so might know of one even if it's not in his Alladin's shed of stuff.

sorry folks but roobarbs shed is nearly empty. andy, i cheated and fitted 7/8th levers/fluid pots (couldnt spell resevours??, ddooohhh) and 1" switchgear/grips by "stepping" the bars to suit. just made up some inserts to fit into the main bars and machined them to take the bits before welding them into the bars. We'll have a write-up on Pete's VW trike in the "Motors" section -just as soon as he sends it in , (hint, hint!). He's the good looking young blonde chap in the Old Biker Photos section by the way.

Ahh, a man after my own heart! I haven't quite got the hang of the twentieth century yet & they've gone & started the next one. Still trying to get used to having suspension on my bike. I too have absolutely no bloomin' idea about all that clever tecy stuff. I own the site & don't know how to post anything on it! Thankfully, Yoda, the Wheeled Wonder, does it all for me. I write my bits & pieces in Microsoft Word then cut & paste them into an email to him & he does the rest. Any & every contribution gratefully received by the way. Want to get as much variety of writing style & taste in machinery in here as possible, so send in anything you'd like to see in print to Yoda, (see "Contacts"), & he'll weave his magic upon it.
Still trying to find someone with a scanner to copy my embarrassing photos!
