Grin People just don't build stuff like that anymore do they. Probably quite easy to get through the MSVA with all that bodywork.

Are you sure about that Nabs? I thought they had to hold the bike in an upright position when stationary to be accepted as a bona fide sidecar. Didn`t the manufacturers get round it with a kind of cantilever. You may be right but I`m (almost) certain I saw one or two standing upright on their own. Huh Huh Huh Huh

Prospective (at that time) son in law put one on an lc350 so he could ride it on his provisional in late 80's. that one definitely didn't lock, he had to use stand. This was the first model though so don't know if they made any other type afterwards. I can't remember the mechanics of it now but the little platform stayed level (unless you actually dropped th bike, then it tilted and let sparks go like an angle grinder) so it must have been some Orr of parabolic system

Have a look at this Bobbi. They have done this for a push bike but gives a good idea for a lightweight frame and how simple they are.

If you can make the bodywork I may have a job for you Smiley

It was to give you an idea on how simple the chassis can be Bobbi, you would need some fixings going up to clamp in place and spread load.
