looking good, keep up the good work. double check your base/bottom tubes are level so you know the headstock etc is plumb/vertical. ive seen some trikes with forks twisted to left/right when theve been plumbed in with the base being unlevel  Roll Eyes

thanks for the tip that's somthing that's kinda worrying me .i presume a spirit level
sat across the frame rails is accurate enough to check for this.

I have used a combination od spirit level, measurements and trigonomentry. I wonder the very same question sometimes, have I got it accurate enough?. My measurements come to within a millimeter so I guess that is good enough.

I drew a centre line for the trike on the build table, and aligned the frame on that. All measurements were referenced off that.

I think we will have to build a simple jig like the one in the tech section and then at least
the referance point won't move. I have a laser level so I can put a line down it with that
and use that for a start. Is 1mm tolerance acceptable, would you notice any difference
on the road.

Thanks for the help

a blind man would be glad to see it Wink
yes, spirit level ok but make sure its the same both ways by turning level around 180deg. Ive used spirit levels and laser levels and found both to be good  Smiley

just guess it i did.. looks like im drifting every where now it crabs that much Cheesy Cheesy better to build with the rear wheels off and block it up or axel stands, a half flat tyre could really fook it all up, i drew a center  and a 90deg line then allined the axel and engine on that to get the hight. then made a jig to hold the forks and headstock, to get my rake once the head stock was tacked i removed the forks and used a plumb bob to keep check Wink looking good though so far, soon be otr

Thanks OAB

That is about what I've done so far! It looks ok and as far as I
Can measure it is ok but then you start to doubt yourself
and spend ages chasing your tail trying to prove that something
is wrong even if it isn't
