Got her weighed today she comes in at 320kg which surprised me a little after reading Olds thread with Deliverance coming in at 280kg I thought this being bike engined would be a little lighter.
So now this is done I'm about to make a start on the msva paperwork and hoping to get up through to Norwich Friday and book her in Grin

Nearly there, be on the road for summer Grin
It's surprising how light the reliant engine and transmission are. The disc brake conversion adds 10kg and a decent sized battery another 10kg. It's surprising how it all adds up.
Main thing is, that it's under the weight limit for a motorcycle trike.

I can lift a Reliant engine & gearbox on my own. My XS650 Yamaha bike engine takes 2 people to lift.
That's great news. As Dave says, another one on the road soon!  Grin

Just ordered a pair of e-marked mirrors (ebay £9.45).
Don't like them but there legal and will be changed for a pair of bar end mirrors that have been knocking around the shed after the test

I got a letter from DVLA saying I have to take the trike for an inspection to check for the VIN.
The DVLA inspection area is a corner of the VOSA test station yard,so this afternoon I took a trip to Norwich to try and book the msva for the same day but to no avail.
I dropped in the forms and now have to wait for an appointment.
On the build front the mirrors I bought are as horrible as I thought and make me feel ill when I look at it,and there is just the addition of rubber edging around the mudguards to report
Oh just one more thing my friend has had his quad fail the msva one point was that he had no documented proof of the engines power is this anyone elses experience
