Trike types in their various guises vary considerably, the normal bike type forked single front wheeler to the reverse trikes to car style morganesque kits and self builds, the list is Long. Now apart from standard reliant s bonds and the like that are closed cars/ Trikes Most others are open of open framed bike types. As anyone ever thought about building a trike that is a closed trike like the very early girder style Reliant commercials etc or even a bike forked trike incorporating a small rod style body. I cant say i have ever seen anything like this ever, may be a little off beat but i suppose most things have to start some where don't they.

Well here's a few for you to be going on with. A quick browse through Google Images brought up these.

How about something a bit more radical.

I've always fancied a full bodied trike, and like all of those. Something like dragonslayers (?) munster coach type body is strangely appealling to me . How about a Roth druid princess type body. Apparently that was originally sketched as being pulled by 2 bikes side by side. roth got into bikes and trikes big time at one point.Hmmm,I reckon it would be easy to build a body for one,I'll just nip out to the workshop to have a measure.........................The mail box type would fit the proportions it seems.....but stretched a bit into the style of Nick Butlers 'Revenge' c-cab........!!!

Lots of ideas and what i was trying to get at in my post to some extent. I don't want to offend any folk that have the what is now traditional style angled bike fork three wheels LA chopper style trike that you tend to see most commonly these days, but the chopper styling glitter ball type styling is not my personal choice , each to his own of course. It is like with Hot rods my perfect hot rod style is the Peterson's Red white and blue speed record car, sort of race style but period. AANNDD i dnt know if i am explaining myself very well here. ! In a nutshell it as to have functional form it is to my tastes if it is chrome it is probably for show and probably not needed so why fit it this is my attitude. Sort of rat rod without Matt black, Matt Black is cool, but for me that kills it in my idea, The Duck egg blue/ Green seen on MMs pop thread, as the same effect for me as Black but is better in that it is less common, maybe i am a snob i don't know. I have no plans for a trike now or inn the future but mates have them and when ever i see any motor car or bike i am always dissecting it mentally and rebuilding it to what i would do, Please note i say mentaly. I have no time to do what i have already let alone others jobs.
