I actually have three Marlins in total the LWB the one in the pics, and another SWB that will be a mirror of the LWB right down to the 1380cc crossflow 5.2 Devon Diff and all the mods the LWB has, but will be built for looks as much as trials performance, and i am forever thinking of weight saving ideas to lighten these cars. My third Marlin was got for some parts the car had with it i wanted and is surplus to requirements i advertised it on this forum a wile back infarct. I have thought about building it for sprints and perhaps auto testing, but i will only do this if i cant sell it, i have plenty to do as it is, and another project will have me scratching the surface of all my projects and completing none. I generally prioritize and go with that to help keep motivation, but the dreaded money or lack of it is a ever present problem, if i stooped taking on more stuff i could have mor money, but then again it is good being skint it improves character
