Ooh, show us yer LED strips matey! Might be interested in those for my own machine. Surface mounted or flush? How deep are the units?
Have you tried car speedos? "Real Steel" advertise on the inside front cover of Custom Car magazine. Lots of speedos in their ad.
01895-440505 or sales@realsteel.co.uk
Speedy Cables will make you up an adaptor/recalibration unit to suit. Will dig their number out if you need it.
There are places in Motorcycle News that advertise one-off discs made to order. Might work out cheaper than a standard replacement if you know the dimensions.
Anybody know of a dirt cheap Moggy Minor pick up or van for my next project?

Me too & want another one. Not a single piccie of mine, but was matt black, fat chrome Weller 8 spokes, Fiat Mirafiori 1600 Twin Cam motor with 5 speed box, fibreglass flip front, Marina disc brakes, E type Jag rear coil-over shocks, roll top steel pick-up body & tail gate, polished wooden deck, Stainless 9 gallon beer barrel tank, Austin Allegro rear seat as bench seat, blue Paisley print door panels & head lining, stupidly tiny Mountney steering wheel...Ahh, happy memories!
My big brother's got a couple of Rover V8 motors sat in his workshop & I hear Mr Angle Grinder calling me again. MMMotors logo on the doors, race headers poking out the wheel arches, seriously low roof chop, new 2" tubular chassis. Anyone want to buy my Triumph?

Midget engine? -Pah! A mere child's toy! Wonder if everyone has a Moggy lurking in their murky past?
If I can find a cheap donor it'll make a great build series for the site.
Did someone mention cheap donuts?!

Just found a nice little pick-up on Ebay.
3.400 quid. Harr, ha, ha! I don't think so.
I'm looking for something in the 3 pounds 50 price range.

60 or 70!! What are you doing with 'em? Banger racing?! Think I've owned about half a dozen cars in my entire life -& 3 of those were Moggies.

My footwear has a certain charm all it's own. I like to think of them as "mature".

770 quid on Ebay. Still way out of my price range, especially as I plan to cut it up!
I had one the same colour as this -with squeeky back doors that drove me mad on long trips.

Same here, one of each. Belonged to the owners' club & luvved 'em -the cars, not the owners. My pick-up was built from a van with the body removed. First van was bought from a stall holder at a car boot sale. Went to the sale & bought a car boot! My saloon was an ex Police Panda car -no heater, (the space was used for the Police radio), a zip across the headlining originally used to access the lights on the roof & the doors resprayed in a different shade of blue to the body. Pandas had white doors & their blue wasn't the standard Morris one. There's one on Ebay "For Restoration" -wonder if it's my old one!

I fancy something along these lines, in matt black or mint green with faded, peeling MMMotors logo on the doors.
