cheers MM,  main reason for striping down was to check for any significant ware and replace any thing that needed it but it all looked good to go.... but gave it a lick of paint whilst it was a part  Smiley

looking good first project stumps leg sweeeet can you spray it black when done so it will run faster!!!! i ran 5 miles this morning but nothing in the purse so i gave it back

hi TP, its funny you should mention Drummond because i was on the way to this guys unit to buy a drummond a (round bed ) but when i got to his unit his business was buying and clearing out work shops so he had got a few bench top lathes and loads of other tools milling machines,welds, etc and i opted for the myford in the end............ but its like an Aladdin's cave in his unit

Probably better off, as you can get far more parts for the Myford than the Drummond.

Does he sell bits as well as lathes Zac, e.g. chucks, steadies, centres etc.?
