connect the wires to the coil + to + - to - or another earth

not that im aware of? the revs are calculated by the spark/rotor arm, i put a counter on a kit car i once had many moons ago, if memory serves me right i did it by the coil,or ht

that a fancy bit of kit bd6 came across them when searching for a speedo, still havnt got one though looking at a small speedo off a monkey bike 0 - 60 mph i dont think id look at it much being on a trike,
