i want to fit one of them air filters that come out the side with the chrome covers. any idea what and where i get one?HuhHuhHuh

i made mine out of an old K&N one of an old escort/cortina  just made and drilled a base plate to suit  ,,SIMPLE,S,,,,,,,   Wink

give or take a few mm 60mm
its a standard carb with the water jacket cut off the manifold and carb turned 180 deg

pan cake air filter, accuspark are selling the on flea bay for hs2 carbs about £7.50  Wink

have you got the su carb?? if so it will be hs2 and the filter will fit. if youve got limeted space and the carb still faces inward toward the engine you could go for a 32mm cone filter, but to be honest if the carb hasnt been rotated 180 degrees stick with the stock as  anything other than stock would suck all warm air off the engine and preformace would drop considerably

yeah i ditch it personally or rotate the heated manifold. with only 40hp you want them all Wink  is it a trike or car??
