got to decide weither to get a replacement fuel pump or use the electric one i have here as the diaphrom on the origional has degraded and flaked

I agree. When I recently had my engine done,I think the head skim was about £40/£60.

i had to do something to get to it to strip it ready for painting. Was just gonna take the engine and box out but the brother in law opened the engine and now i am glad he  did as the big end bearings are shot so need replacing. i am getting there slowly and hopefully it will be done for next rally season. got to get some low profile tyres on my 15 inch wheels as i need more clearance on the frame than with standard tyres. I am glad i don't need to replace the liners and pistons that is a big relief

850 engine half stripped ,no dizzy or alternator , unknown cond, but it turns ok, down at mine if you need owt, come and take the lot, free
