So doesn't it just need a manifold making that comes straight out from the block?

An adaptor shouldnt be difficult...a piece of pipe(90 degrees?) and 2 x endplates.
thinking about it now it has to be more than 90 degrees is there any design software out there does anyone know of.
thanks dragon

aye,
most of us use it on here, its a pen and the back of the fag packet Grin    ive got the pen part, but is it not cheaper to employ a proffesional custom bike builder than buy 10 fags,  Angry Angry

get some pics up,

So its a bit of tube with 90 deg bend and 2 end pieces, one end to fit the Reliant, other end fits the carb. I suggest you look at Merlin motorsports for a bit of preformed bend, then make some plates up yourself for the flanges.
An idea...Im not sure what angle the Reliant carb sits at,but could you join 2 x Reliant inlets end to end to give you 90 deg?

i think its 30deg rod su carbs only work from 30 to 90 degrees, to do a cheepie you dont need a 90bend just get a staight 32mm tube 17/18 awg will be sound then just chop yhe ends off at 45degree weld to the 2 plates you made  then youl hava carb that sticks out the wrongright way at the cost of £5/£10,  i cant go the factory this week as daughters off school. but if you stuck next week i could knock you somthing up. ive made one for mine but i want to stick it out around 4miles now to co-inside with the new wide bars ive made. so ile be making another Wink

The pic of that carb shows a side entry for manifold doean't it? If it is it just needs a straight manifold, or am I missing something again? Smiley

I have two stainless flanges left from an earlier development but designed to extend the original inlet manifold out, so the two plates match the inlet manifold left and right, anyone want them they going cheap Smiley you would need two bits of 25 mm pipe 1.5 wall and two plates to match the head to finish

the carb that came with the trike was a zenith and in pieces so i went looking around and found the zenith stromberg 125CD which is a su replacement. so that is what i went for.
