I am in the process of prepping my Diff parts for reassembly and noticed on inspection some damage to one of the Timken Taper roller outer shells fitted in the thinner of the 2 Diff Casings.
I managed to carefully remove it with aid of a drift and a big hammer Smiley
Leads me to think that each of the bearings have 3 cutouts in the mouldings which as for i assume, removal.

Does anyone have any experience removing the diff taper bearings, as I'm about to buy a removal tool, and want to get it right
