You have to admire them old boys who managed to build stuff out of whatever they had to hand.

When my old gramps wanted a car he didn't just go out and buy one . No, he built it himself.
Armed with nothing more than a hammer and a stiff upper lip he worked away at the bottom of the garden, stopping only to top up his pipe and mop his capped brow.

Imagine how impressed granny was when see saw the fruits of his labour....
