Never volunteer! Hello Angus-& welcome to the forum. All members, new & old equally welcome. Nothing very organised, (definitely not organised), just turn up, park up & enjoy the day. I've already got the passes. They're just photocopied tickets, but the organisers like to see them with the vehicles when they come in the gate. Rather than posting them out to everyone & half the entrants losing them or forgetting them, we give out our mobile numbers beforehand & people give us a shout when they arrive, so we can nip over to the gate with a pass for them. Our pitch seems to be the same size every year, but they're usually happy to give us more passes if we need 'em. Show entry's completely free for exhibitors & punters.

No seats, no motor, no nuffin, jus' an empty shell at the moment, but lots of room in there for driving daydreams. Still looking for a way of transporting it to the show at the moment.

The finished car will weigh 2 1/2 tons. Even as a shell, I think even Susie would struggle to drag it from Surrey to Hampshire.

Horses are ridiculously nervous animals -they spook at the tiniest thing. A bit of paper blowing across the yard, a leaf, the wind. Anything. She'd completely freak out surrounded by cars & motorbikes -& Monkeys!

Not even a steering wheel in it yet. Definitely a long term project.

PD can't make it this year, so looks like I'll be showing the XS myself. If I can't get any transport sorted for the rest of the projects, it could be the only thing I get to show this year.
